logo creation

The creation of the Dungeon Lab logo combines a beaker to symbolize creation and exploration and a dragon to symbolize the fantasy elements of TTRPG gameplay. The geometric design of the entire logo was inspired by the D20 dice used in a majority of TTRPG games and the bubbles coming out of the beaker are then shape of little D20 dice!

The UI is clean, simple and modern while the colors were inspired by classic fantasy motifs: scrolls, leather, bronze and gilded edges.

Classic, timeless design.

Item User interface

The item organization and creation UI keeps in mind that there will be MANY items created by the game master (GM) and sent to players to be stored in their own inventory.

It was of utmost importance to keep the UI visual-forward, clean, and to really utilize filtering.

Non-player characters

The UI design to organize
non-player characters.

This inventory can be organized in the game master (GM) mode. Which allows the GM to create, purchase and download NPCs to send to players.

Then players have their own inventory, where they can collect NPCs they have interacted with in the campaign for later reference.
